Who am I?
Kaan Ölmez — IT specialist for database administration and system support from Raunheim.
What do I do?
I'm currently working at HDI Insurance and am responsible for the migration from Oracle 12 to Oracle 19 databases, the move from on-prem data centers to AWS Cloud, and projects converting Oracle to Postgres.
How did I get here?
My career path took me from studying Applied Computer Science to my first projects at Deutsche Bank and Opel, and then to becoming a database migration specialist at Volkswagen Financial Services. I am currently deepening my expertise in Business Informatics.
